This week Jordan and Andy have been involved with the installation of a new three phase CNC machine at Deltec Industries based on Poulton Industrial Estate.

Before the machine could be installed, we had to upgrade one of the three phase distribution board to accommodate the new machine. For this we chose to install a new 8-way Contactum board. This work had to be carried out on a Friday afternoon after the manufacturing staff had finished for the week.
Once we had installed the board, we needed to pull in a new 35mm 5 core armoured cable, this spec was requested by the manufacturer of the machine. Pulling in a 35mm armoured cable is heavy work, Jordan and Andy made light work of it though. Once the cable was glanded and terminated we carried out the electrical testing.
We are now awaiting the manufacturers team to come to site where FCR will work alongside to commission the machine and prepare it for hand over to the client.
